Laboratory and Water Quality Instruments Calibration
QCS provides calibration services and repair facilities for Dissolved Oxygen, pH (A2LA accredited calibration available), Turbidimeters, Spectrophotometers, Conductivity, Temperature Devices (A2LA accredited calibration available), Ovens (A2LA accredited calibration available), and Autoclaves (A2LA accredited calibration available). A brief description of some of the more common calibration services follows.
SPECTROPHOTOMETERS
Service includes all accuracy tests and calibration to the original manufacturer's specifications using N.I.S.T. traceable standards. Our thorough service includes cleaning and alignment of the optical and mechanical systems, and source lamp/power supply adjustment. This service applies to most makes and models of basic bench top spectrophotometers.
pH METERS
Service applies to most makes and models, and includes all accuracy checks, field adjustments and calibration of pH, millivolt, relative millivolt, isopotential and temperature using N.I.S.T. traceable liquid and electronic standards. A2LA accredited calibration also available.
DISSOLVED OXYGEN (D.O.) INSTRUMENTS
Accuracy checks are made using YSI's factory authorized service module along with other test equipment which are all traceable to N.I.S.T. Tests of the meter include oxygen calibration, solubility, temperature, salinity and polarizing voltage. Probe tests include leakage, thermistor tolerance, oxygen response and sensitivity. This service applies to most makes and models.
TURBIDIMETERS
Service includes all accuracy tests and calibration to the original manufacturer's specifications using N.I.S.T traceable standards. Our thorough service includes servicing and alignment of the optical and mechanical systems and power supply. These services apply to most makes and models.
CONDUCTIVITY METERS
Service consists of all required accuracy checks, and calibration of the meter and probe using electronic and liquid standards which conform to the manufacturer and N.I.S.T. standards. This service applies to YSI, Orion and other selected makes and models.
OVENS, AUTOCLAVES, INCUBATORS, COLD BOXES
Service includes temperature tests using an N.I.S.T. certified electronic thermometer and thermocouple from single point to full mapping depending on application. A2LA accredited calibration also available.
