Quality Control Services (QCS) was established in 1974 to fill the need for precision calibration services and quality sales. QCS has over 40 years of experience in calibration, service, and repair of all makes and models of precision balances as well as other laboratory equipment.
QCS maintains an Echelon 1 Metrology Laboratory, a Thermometry Laboratory, and a Pipette Laboratory. These inhouse labs provide calibrations for customers from across North America.
QCS Field Service Technicians calibrate equipment throughout the Northwest, as well Hawaii and portions of California.
QCS is Accredited by A2LA for the majority of the calibrations we perform, including balances and scales, mass standards (weights), thermometers, pipettes, ovens, refrigerators, fume hoods, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and many more. See our scope of accreditation for our full accredited capabilities.
If calibration with documentation is a part of your Quality Assurance Program, then contact us for more information on A2LA Accredited calibration services. If accredited documentation is not as important to your system, we also offer non-accredited Certificates of Calibration both with or without data to fit your needs. Although all certificates are NIST traceable, most quality programs now require data, and many are moving towards requiring accredited calibrations.
QCS is a direct distributor for the following lines of products: Sartorius, Minebea (formerly Sartorius Industrial/Sartorius Intec), Ohaus, AND, Setra, ThermoOrion, Cahn, YSI, Rice Lake, and Troemner. Visit our Sales page to find more information regarding purchasing any of our lines of laboratory equipment.
QCS maintains a comprehensive repair shop and can service and repair the majority of the equipment that we calibrate. With the addition of IES Corporation, QCS’s balance repair capabilities are now among the best in the business.
It is a bittersweet addition of IES to the QCS family, with the passing of owner Doug Morse.
The beginning of IES was prompted by the friendship between the two owners and we worked closely throughout the years. IES was recognized nationally as a premier balance repair center and is a welcome addition to our current staff.
